Advanced Ground Instructor (AGI)

Costanzo Air Flight School is seeking a skilled and experienced Ground Instructor to join our team. The AGI will be responsible for providing ground instruction to our students and ensuring their success throughout the training process.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct ground training in accordance with FAA regulations and company policies and procedures
• Teach weekly ground school courses to students
• Conduct classroom sessions, online courses, and one-on-one lessons as needed.
• Develop new ground courses and all pertaining syllabi, training materials, and content
• Ensure that all students pass their written and oral exams
• Develop and implement lesson plans and training programs for each student based on their individual needs and goals
• Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback on areas of improvement
• Participate in student recruitment and retention efforts as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Advanced Ground Instructor (AGI) certification 
• At least 1 year of experience teaching as an AGI
• Excellent communication and teaching skills
• Strong knowledge of FAA regulations and flight safety practices
• Ability to work well with students of diverse backgrounds and learning styles
• Professional demeanor and appearance
• Must be a US citizen
