Costanzo Air's Junior Pilot Program is a unique opportunity for young aviation enthusiasts to explore the world of aviation and experience the thrill of flying. This program is designed to give students a hands-on introduction to the basics of flight, as well as a taste of what it's like to be a pilot. It is recommended for those curious about exploring aviation for the first time and for those who are between the ages of 12-17.

Through this ~4 hour program, students will learn the fundamentals of aviation from experienced flight instructors, and will have the opportunity to fly in our aircrafts and simulator. The program is structured to provide a well-rounded aviation education, with a mix of classroom instruction, hands-on activities, and actual flight time. We also provide group discounts on this service if you wish to combine multiple students together.

• 1.5 hours ground instruction
• 1 hour of simulator training
• 1 Discovery Flight
• A signed logbook to start your aviation career

Program Overview:

The FAA Written Exam Preparation Program is a comprehensive 40-hour course that focuses on preparing you for the FAA Private Pilot Knowledge Test. Our experienced flight instructors will guide you through ground school lessons and interactive study sessions, ensuring you have a solid understanding of the topics covered in the written exam. 

Program Structure:

The program will consist of engaging and interactive ground school sessions that will cover all the essential topics required for the FAA Private Pilot Knowledge Test, including:

• Aerodynamics
• Weight and balance
• Aircraft Systems
• Flight Aviation Regulations (FARs)
• Aeronautical Decision Making (ADM)
• Performance
• Navigation and Charts
• Weather Theory and Interpretation
• Airspace and Communications
• Cross-Country Planning

Program Timeline:

The FAA Written Exam Preparation Program will be scheduled over a span of a few months, depending on your availability and learning pace. The program can be tailored to accommodate your schedule and individual needs.

Program Prerequisites:

To enroll in the FAA Written Exam Preparation Program, you must be at least 16 years old.
